Well you guys I findlly got a hold of Little Mermaid 2 and all I got to say is. You guys are all wrong. This as good as the frist Little Mermaid. I loved Melody she dose take after her mother. I did not see nothing wrong with her. She did exactly what Ariel did and Ariel did what her dad did to her. If you guys listen to Eric he said that he and Ariel would have told her the thurth sooner or later. So it wasn't Melody's falt it was Ariel's in a way. I think this is one of the best 2nd tipe of movies that Disney has come out. Now I can't weight until LM3 comes out.

No I'm not blind I love ever minute of it. I've been watching it every night. I love every thing on it. I think Melody is the cutes girl on it. Also it wasn't sopost to be about Ariel it was sopost to be about her daughter. Like I said I can't weight until LM3 comes out.

No one cares if you liked it, especially when you can't even spell "supposed". Just criticize the movie based on plot, characters, animation, music, etc. :-P

Dear Little Girl,
the whole movie was a piece of *beep* characters, animation, music-all sux.Ariel's daughter is stupid,and the movie isn't good,i gave him 2/10,because it can't replace the first one.I think the whole movie is a joke!
The characters are not drawn well,ESPECIALLY ARIEL!The plot is silly,and the music is alful,where's the feeling?!
In short,THAT SILLY MOVIE HAS TO BE FORGOTTEN,BECAUSE IT'S MOCKERY TO THE FIRST ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For your info I'm a guy a 35 year old guy. I'm sorry that my spelling isn't good. Spelling isn't one of my speailty. I've always gotten D's and F's in spelling. No one is perfect.

I agree that tlm was a great film but so is tlm2, it has feeling and I liked everything about it. I dont get y people diss sequels becos theyre not the orginal. OF COURSE theyre not the original, hence the number at the end! Its not trying to replace anything krem_gothica, its just giving kids more movies to watch that include their fave characters.

First off I'm sorry that so many people hate this movie. I thought that it was fine for a Disney sequel, I even got some of the songs stuck in my head after a while. Tip and Dash annoy me to no end and at first, Melody did too. Then I learned to like her. I just hope the third movie isn't a piece of crap like Cinderella 3 looks like it'll be. Hmm but what the heck would Ariel do if she never went to Ursula and traded her voice for legs?

I agree I really liked this movie as well. When it came out I was so excited. I mean I was going to get to see one of my all time favorite movies in a new light. The animation was nothing to boast or brag about and the story was slow on some parts, but come on folks TLM was a movie we loved as kids. And sure your kids may like it or hate it, however my kids like the older ones, but love the sequels. I think its great that Disney keeps the animation around with sequels. I mean think about it, when the sequels are gone there is no more 2d animation.
This is going to suck balls. I think I am going to go cry now, I just read that Dumbo II was canceled as of February 23 2006.
This is a movie I was looking forward too for the longest time, now i guess I will have to die broken hearted.

personally I am a fan of the sequels, meaning i can enjoy them. i just go in expecting a simple light movie and i come out entertained. I havent seen this one, but i plan to.

I know the sequels are never as good by any means, but as long as they have the original voices for key characters im good to go. i.e. the disney princess and unique voices(Belle,Ariel,Sebastian)

i plan on watching all the sequels to the classics(that doesnt include Lilo and Stich or movies from 1998 on) as i enjoy seeing my favourite childhood characters at it again.

If any of you are wondering, i am an 18 year old male in University who Plays Lacrosse, i bet that threw some of you off guard, lol. Its not like im a 11 year old girl.

In fact I greatly enjoyed the first sequel to my favourite disney movie, Beauty and the Beast- An Enchanted Christmas. I found "stories" to be a wonderful song. I havent seen Belle's Magical World, as that is different as 3 short stories. I also really enjoyed Aladdin Prince of Thieves. I cant remember Return of Jafaar very well as I was 9 when I saw it. I remember liking it though. Im sure my opinion wouldnt change too much at 18.

So just lighten up people, they may not be anywhere near great but they wont hurt you. Just watch the sequels and balance out the quality by watching any Studio Ghibli film(all amazing) afterwards, like Spirited Away, Whisper of the Heart or My Neighbor Totoro. All of Miyazaki and Takahata's films are masterpieces and greats works of Art and Story

I really liked this movie.. It was really cute. I liked how Ariel became a mom. And she's different in this movie, but it's because she's more mature as a mom. They had some pretty funny jokes too..Sebastian was funny like always. Also, it actually feels like that could have happened in Ariel's life after the 1st movie ends. One of the best parts, I think, is that they didn't have the original villian come back because..i just couldn't stand Ursula, and I'm glad her sister doesn't like her either..lol. I don't think people should criticize these movies so much. The music isn't written in a day or played in a day. Even though you may not like it..maybe little kids do. I just look at it this way..appreciate that these people spent time on making a good family movie that was cute. It was their job not ours..and its not like we could do any better than them.

The sequel sucked! Omen III: The Final Conflict and Nightmare on Elm Street 5 are better sequels.

If I can mix Code Lyoko, Anime, Freddy, Jason, Alien, Predator, Marvel and DC together.
