What happens at the end? Does Melody become a mermaid or does she stay as a human?

She stays a human and the wall is knocked down, and she says "Now we can all live together"

She remains a human and uses Titon's triton to get rid of the wall that kept her from the sea.

The rainbow was perfect in the first one, but they had to go and abuse it. :P
