How old is melody in this movie?

Anyway I think they added a year (the animators probably only guessing when it'd be released) so that Melody would be closer to being a teen, however it is funny how the time progression in the film coincided so closely to the actual length of time between the release of the two films.

Since that was the case in the past, then TLM 3 should be a further continuation of the saga, with Melody as a 19 yr old princess who has to decide between marrying the son of the Russian Czar (who's also a dashing, handsome sailor prince, who'd wisk her away to Russia and away from her parents) or a merman, both of whom she falls in love with simultaneously. lol! Aw the choices... (If you've seen Anastasia though you could prob guess...) Also to see if Melody had any younger siblings by this point (red-headed twin brothers and a little sister would be hilarious & cute), and what Ariel & Eric would look like at 35 and 37...but apparently TLM 3 is a prequel movie.
