Ok with all of the sequels getting release dates and so forth, why is it that this film has not gotten one. I mean there is alot that they could show on a special edition dvd.

I mean where did the idea come from.

I so want this movie to come out.

Also the deleted scene in the preview is.... when Ariel say Melody and she is looking through a port window on a sunken ship.

Where did you see this deleted scene? Is it from TLM2? Can you see it in the trailer? (I don't know where to find the trailer but I would love to see this scene if it excists...)

The deleted scene is actually on the preview. It is when Ariel sounds really distrot and says MELODY. You will see her looking through a port window on a sunkin ship. It is not in the movie. I have freeze framed this movie twice and I have not found it. Can you please look at this preview and look at at the movie and tell me if I am missing something.

I'd love to see any deleted scenes or characters (especially if they included any younger siblings for Melody, ) but I guess we'll just have to wait for when or if a Special Edition of TLM2 is released.

I remember that! It's funny because when I looked at my video tape I expected that but didn't find it. Glad to know I'm not crazy.

Anyway, considering it's a sequel, and not one of Disney's favorites, you'd get a new game and some of the stuff from the old DVD. I didn't get the old DVD, and I've always wanted to see the cartoon that came with it, so I'd be okay with the new release. Chances are we'll get it this Christmas it if's like Cinderella's release.

I now know of at least two Disney sequel's coming to special edition. The Jungle Book 2, and 101 Dalmatians 2: Patches London Adventure. So I would HOPE that this one will be released as well. Because like you said there's a lot of the behind the scenes stuff they can show. For example, I's LOVE to see a behind the microphone feature where it shows Jodi Benson, Tara Strong, Rob Paulsen, Pat Carroll, Samuel E. Wright, Kenneth Mars, Buddy Hackett, Clancy Brown, Cam Clarke...etc. at the mic saying their lines.
