Disney has no shame with all these sequels.

The newer generation of movie makers at Disney should be ashamed of themselves for these pointless sequels. Why tarnish classic movies just for the sake of making a little money. Just come up with new stuff....some things are more important then money.

At least Return to the Sea attempted to avoid too much unexplainable contradictions to the first film. Ariel's Beginning had so many contradictions to the first film that it would have made the first film non-canon, and this was worse as it was a prequel to it.

I can defiantly agree with that. This is one Disney missed all the way around. They should have left well enough alone.

I'm not sure why you think the original was a classic film while this one is bad enough to tarnish it. It does feel different when a sequel comes out just 2 to, as in this case, 11 years after the first, a more recent sequel generally feels more natural and less desperate than trying decades later but I think sequels generally can't ruin the initial movies.
