What's up With the Zeplin?

I was little when the show was on so I don't remember a lot. I remember one episode though that they are back in time in England and there is something with this Zeppelin. The gang tries to change history or get out of there because they know something bad is going to happen but for some reason Malone stays. The Zeppelin gets destroyed and Malone becomes a ghost or something. Sorry if it's weird but I hardly remember the episode but I really want to know what happened.

Also if it took place on a South American plateu why the hell was everyone white?

Out of the Blue has the explorers going back in time (by several years). In the previous episode (Into the Fire) Malone fell out of the Zeppelin (and is trapped in the spirit world).

The reason it's called the Lost World is because it is a world lost in time and space. The Plateau has little kinship with South America. That's why today, the treehouse dwellers visited Camelot; yesterday Atlantis. Just last week the stories included, vampires, druids, a giant etc.
