Is there not another show called the lost world

I found another show called the lost world with Bob Hoskins iv only seen this show though but i heard that it has a proper ending i was really confused i was actually looking for that show when i found this and i just kept watching this instead.

That was the mini series of a few years ago.
THIS is the TV series that ran for three years.
