I just wanted to pay Chris Morris some credit by having the first say on this message board! Jam is simply brilliant. It's better than Brass Eye, which was unfortunately slandered for being too controversal. I have bought the first series DVD and it's a pleasure to have. I hope it becomes more recognized.

It was great but I wouldn't say that it was BETTER than Brass Eye which is more laugh outloud funny. They are pretty dissimilar (right spelling? who cares).
shareChris Morris and Armando Iannuci are both absolute genious. Everything either of them do is just brilliant, the day today, brass eye, jam, alan partridge, the armando ianucii show, its all laughing out loud hilarious.
I'd agree that brasseye is more laugh-out-loud, but Jam is so much cleverer and entertaining than the latter. Different programmes all together really, sort of like comparing Only fools and horses with Eastenders
