Chris Morris Childrens Show.

Ok, i had one of those dreams last night where you wake up laughing. Now it's going to seem rediculous at first, but the more i thought about it, the less rediculous it seemed...

Do you think Chris Morris could ever do a children's show? Now i'm not saying he'd EVER do it, but i just think some of his phsical comedy, his use of sounds, language, and just the plain daftness of some of his ideas leads me to believe that this man could do a very very clever childrens show.

The man has done alot of different mediums with his career; satire, sketch comedy, sitcom, short film. What better way to confound expectations?

Of course, i'm well aware of the beautiful vulgarity or morris' world, and it'd be a given that this aspect of his mind-head would take a back seat, but alot of my friends after their initial 'don't be a twat, you twat' comments, did see some snese in my senselessnessness...

Opinions?

I agree that if he did, it would be as funny as hell, but I don't think they'd let him!

He'd be a great narrator for some children's audio books. like Judie Bloom especially. His sarcasm would be hilarious, yet the kids wouldnt recognise it so it'd be even funnier

i think it's a great idea :) his dark surrealist humour would suit kids' shows very well. write & tell him! it's gotta be better than the awful crap that was nathan barley :(

No joke, I think this is a bleeping excellent idea. No, seriously, I am not being ironic. I was thinking this before. It would be great!!!!!! :D

strange yet intriguing idea..... he always seems to use children in his material very intelligently, almost in a naive way to highlight the manner in which some adults ignore the importance of children .....

"THIS IS THE NEWS!!.......oh god, i wish it wasnt"

"Gran'pa was always tha best...."

Chris Morris should have done Wonder Showzen.

I think a lot of children would actually enjoy an aloof and plummy voiced narrator like him on Jackanory.
