9/11
I was surprised to see the twin towers. Obviously they filmed the movie before 9/11 and it was released afterward, but I feel like movies with the twin towers in them were kinda forbidden shortly after 9/11.

shareNot forbidden, but some filmmakers chose to remove the towers from their films.
It's ridiculous to remove the towers from films. You don't delete deceased relatives from family photo's....do you?
Barry McMullen: "I like being a pessimist. It helps me deal with my inevitable failure."
They weren't forbidden. They were removed to not upset people.
They should be remembered, too many people have already forgotten.
Correct. Not to pick on the OP but too many people use words like forbidden or censored when those words have more authoritarian meanings. Censorship can only be performed by the state.
