Bring back the old Survivor

I'm tired of the sappy back stories and all the PC crap. I don't care if someone wants to find out more about themselves. I just want a bunch of people backstabbing/strategizing, and playing a game to win.

It would be fun to hear someone say they aren't there to make lifetime friends and all they want to do is win $1 million and will do whatever it takes to get to the end.

It really has become a boring show, but for some strange reason, I continue to watch hoping, (however unrealistic), that things will change.

i hate the "new" twists like the stupid triple idol and rolling of dice, and the exclusion island (or w/e it is)
the stories are too much.. everyone needs one in order to win so Survivor has lost all meaning

After hearing about the PC nonsense from last season, I didn´t feel enthusiastic about watching and indeed heard from a few people it was a bad season. Not sure, if I will watch the new one. I get nostalgic about all star seasons so I will probably continue to watch those if there are indeed any more of them but yeah the show has progressively gotten worse since they gifted Ben the win in season 35 with the awful fire-making rule at final 4.

its marginally better than last year, but they are still pushing for a minority to win again. the ratio is 11 minorities and 18 people but one light skin person had to leave.

What is shocking to me is that the show is still on the air. I am just now learning this. I quite watching after Season 2.

Season 2? You have missed 16 great years of Survivor. It really got good around season 5 and has been great until season 41.

A few weeks ago black person on the show basically said it's racist if you vote out a black person. That was quitting time for me.
