Character that grew on you the most...

Gotta be Lane's mom, Ms. Kim -- I truly started out hating her for how controlling she was, but over the seasons I've really grown to like her a lot.

I would say Jess grew on me with later watchings. I've personally never been attracted to "bad boys" at all, so at one point I really just thought of him as an arrogant, disrespectful punk-ass jerk and didn't even find it believable that Rory would like him.

Later, I guess I've first of all given him credit for maturing in the later part of the series. And even early on, I've come to see him with a little more sympathy. He's a kid who knows he's more intelligent than a lot of the people around him, but he hasn't matured enough to own that without being arrogant. He has understandable frustrations with his life in general, but he hasn't matured enough to put that in perspective or deal with it constructively.

I guess the bottom line is - he was a kid. And I think I see that more clearly now that I'm an adult. (I'm about Rory's age.)

That's a very good point, and it's why I've related so much with him as well.

Paris. She was always entertaining but she came into her own at Yale and progressed as a character without losing her unique traits. Same with Mrs. Kim.

Taylor.

At first I just hated him but the more you see that he has absolutely NOTHING else in his life but this town and what he can do to it makes him worthy of pity.

Don't get mad....... CJ

I originally hated him, now I tolerate him and -at times- like him.

I would say paris grew on me as she was more relaxed and less of an overachiever. Miss kim lightening up improved her character.

Paris for sure. When I rewatch I still hate her in season one, but further along into the show I enjoy her even more.

In general, I think I've watched the show enough for my opinions not to change anymore, but to intensify. I enjoy the people I love much more, but I don't enjoy the people I don't like much more.
