Finally Finished.

I just finished the series finale last night and here are my thoughts...

I hate that Rory and Logan didn't end up together, I understand Rory felt she was too young and I get it. I just loved her with Logan more than Jess and Dean. So I am hoping in the new season they somehow end up together.

I love love love how close Paris and Rory had become compared to Season 1.

I am very grateful that I only have a little over a month to see new episodes with the way it ended with Luke and Lorelei. I mean it was kind of obvious that they were on the road to reconciliation. But to wait until the last episode? Which makes me wonder if the writers had advanced notice that the series was ending or was it cancelled last minute?
So I feel bad for the day 1 viewers who had to wait 9 years for a glimpse into Luke and Lorelei's future.

So glad you enjoyed it!

The Paris/Rory dynamic was so neat, wasn't it?

Regarding the Rory/Logan split, what always bothered me so much is that her graduation day was marred by a breakup. That's just sucky.

I'm wondering if they did that to mirror her high school graduation. The situations weren't just alike but they both left her in unexpected ways and she was able to start the next chapter of her life without anyone holding her back.

Hmmmm. Never thought of it from that way of thinking! Thanks! It puts salve on my burn!

I kind of liked it that she ended up single. She was still very young, only about 22 if she graduated college only time. So I liked the possibility that her future was unwritten. And now that the show is returning and Rory will be about 30, that's about time when it's nice to settle down.

-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.
