I don't know if people are going to migrate but to it but there is a forums site called IMDBv 2.0. (see link) Looks like the boards here minus the individual tv show/film boards. It would just be a separate thread for the actor, film etc. Example: a thread for 'Gilmore Girls' would be in Heading:TV TALK, in the Folder: Classic TV / The 00s.
