Luke letting his actions do the talking S4 Finale

Someone should've told Luke that actions speak louder than words but they do not replace them. You still have to make things official lol! I loved seeing Lorelai walk into doors and falling all over the place due to her feelings for Luke. She's usually the nonchalant party but this time she was in 100 percent.

I agree. Luke is incredibly insecure and scared of rejection and facing his own shortcomings. That's why he avoids talking about anything that might remind him, or force him to talk about those. It's really immature for a guy his age to be this way... But I don't blame him. I think this sort of behavior comes with being a manly man stereotype. Most boys growing up hear they should not cry or show emotion because that's not manly. So they end up being exactly like Luke, thinking it's bad to talk about things, and eventually, they start to believe it on a deeper level.

I never associate manliness with this sort of behavior. In fact, to me, this is the opposite of strength and confidence.
