I thought it was great And yes i am a huge van Damme Fan but i dont care what you van damme haters say your all losers

i always thought replicant was an ok film, but the premise totally ripped off a book by eric lustbader called Pale Saint - about a serial killer who is cloned so they can track him down...

Nice arguments james_theretard, but they can't really persuade me.

I would say "Replicant" is one of JCVD's best movies. He is absolutely great as Replicant as even better as the torch.

The torch is the most intriguing character and the best in this movie. His coldness is awesome; and the fight scene in the bar goes low-key but this is what it makes it delicious.
The Replicant character is too fragile, perhaps this was the conception of its in the movie, though it's weak for my taste.
Excellent movie!

Yeah i'm with ya's I love Van Damme he's the man, so many cool action films all with kick ass martial arts and fight scenes that are completely coreographed by Van Damme himself so give the man his props he's not out there to put a tear to your eye or to quote shakespear he's doing what he does best and that's full on martial arts fighting and explosive action scenes. I saw Wake Of Death recently and that was farely good, woulda been good if he had a fight with the main bad guy at the end istead of the bad guy just getting shot but anyway does anyone have any news on Van Dammes status?, is he doing another movie anytime soon?, thanks.

Yes he is doin 3 more movies all being released in 2006 put in on imdb search JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME and it will show you all the movies he has done.

One of a few Western action stars rountinely putting out quality action movies. Not necessarily martial arts flixs, but action movies nonetheless.

It was ok for what it was. Too bad it was released 15 years to late as movies like this is a prime example of how the 80's B movies were.
