paid Rotten Tomatoes critics: "MAMA'S WRONG AGAIN!"

I just revisited this movie today after watching the Jeff bridges "The Giver"

Looking at the critics' low score of this film and the lazy dismissal of it as a "sci fi mashup" has been Burning a hole in my mind since the first two frames of the film.

I haven't watched this film since highschool and at the time the fact that IT IS " The Giver" line by line just completely flew over my head as a kid.


I find it deplorable that so many critics completely overlooked that it was in fact actually a very stylized retelling of "The Giver." Their ignorance only cements a long time gut feeling that about 95% of "movie critics" are probably uncultured, unread, pseudo intellectual opinion vomiters who shouldn't be paid for S%$#!
