Carlo and Corelli (Spoilers)
For the life of me I can't understand why the film never addressed that Carlo was a homosexual, and saved Captain Corelli not because Pelagia loved him, but because he himself loved him.
"I know how you feel. You feel if he dies your world will stop turning."
This is as far as the film takes it, and it's so vague, you think he just feels that way about a woman back home... for some reason that's as much as we get.
Such an outstanding plot line in the novel and such a sin to ignore it in the film.
"Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream..."
