Thats not the real cover because my friend has it at home and... thats not the cover.
Well, I'm looking at my DVD right now, four inches from my face, and I say it is.

It looks like they made a new cover. I wonder why? My DVD has the old cover with Tails and Knuckles on it (I bought it back around 2002).
shareThere are four covers. The original Japanese release was on TWO VHS and had on the first Sonic and Tails with Mecha Eggman in the background. On the second it was Knuckles, the Princess, and the Mayor with Sonic and Metal Sonic facing off for the second half of the OVA was the Metal Sonic battle.
In the US the first cover had Sonic, Tails and Knuckles on the VHS cover with the tag "Scrape some knuckles, catch some tails!". The DVD release for the US version is the cover on IMDB.
