I just watched the movie, but unfortunately wasn't able to see it entirely. I missed a few portions in between & a couple of minutes towards the ending. I ain't sure whether I'll get to see it again, so I'll very much appreciate it if someone can clarify the following issues:

==> Who brought the beast & why (w.r.t. the movie)?

==> Was Sylvia (Monica Belluci's character) just a prostitute or there was something more to it?

==> How did Grégoire de Fronsac come back to life?

There's a couple of minor errors, but the plot is basically right.
