He was kinda cute in a bumbling idiotic way and ilicited a bit of sympathy. It depends on what you are looking for, whether you liked the character or thought it was a good performance.
Of the good performances I prefered the psychos in Kalifornia and Fight Club and a great performances in Twelve Monkeys and Jesse James.....
His most likable characters were in the Mexican and Mr and Mrs Smith.
