Mexican Take Away,( and never leave it back thanks! )

It was one of those films where you sat and waited for it to get better and I'm still waitin !!
I'll buck the trend and say I thought Julia Roberts did put in a commendable performance, but poor ol Brad Pitt, did not look like he wanted to be where he was, terrible performance.
Rubbish and to think there are some great film makers out there, who cant get funding and this piece of pretentious crap, can get funding and (normally) fine actors sign up for it, I give up !!

Actually, Brad Pitt mentions in a interview on the Special edition DVD, that he absolutely loved Mexico and specifically the location where they shot, ( I forget the town ). So, you're wrong, he did actually want to be there. I'm not a huge Brad Pitt fan, although I must admit to owning a lot of his movies, but I did find his performance to be pretty good. Something about the way he delivers his lines, but he seems to be better in the roles where he's a stoner, loser, or crazy.

Brad Pitt does stupid really well. Especially his body language when he's not talking. Any other movies you like where he plays someone not too bright?

Not that Brad and Julia were bad in this movie, but for some reason, I think it would've been better without them.

Their "star" status may've overshadowed the movie and influenced it to go in some directions that just didn't work...

I did like the "Uncle Ted" character though.
