A bunch of people being asshats for no reason. This is the show my 2 year old loves to watch and she is learning some things on here so I don't understand half the threads on this forum about this show..

Surprised me too. I gave it a 7. It's a solid show but if the intent is to teach Spanish it doesn't do a very good job. Dora usually just says one or two words in it that by themselves aren't very useful. Or it's something so basic like counting that you don't need the show to learn it. The only way you'll learn any Spanish with this is if you watch the Spanish dub where she speaks it throughout. Otherwise it's pretty good and Dora is a positive influence.

This is a pretty popular kids show, I'd never thought the rating would be so low.

Well, it's target audience isn't really voting. The show is meant for kids who likely don't have computer access, let alone care for reviews, LET ALONE IMDB reviews.

Those giving it low ratings are either trolling or don't understand the show isn't meant for them. It's the equivalent of a 35-year-old man complaining that Barney lacks Game of Thrones-like depth in its plot. HE JUST TAUGHT YOUR KID HOW TO SHARE, DAMMIT!! That, to me, is all the depth he and Dora need...



I was not that rough while I rated this show, but this show doesn't complete its objective. In other words, it fails as an educational show. The teaching of this show is pretty poor. It dedicates short time to come with the educational stuff, and even then, the educational things are always the same topics and are too basic. I don't expect this to be a philosophical treatise disguised as a show, but this alleged educational show is utterly shallow.
