When I first saw this movie I fell in love with it, it was a great entertaining stylish noir of a flick, beautifully directed with a great soundtrack, and some awesome acting to boot. Salton Sea doesnt come across as a true great film, more like a hidden gem, a treasure if you may.

This movie was an absolute hidden treasure. Because of my profession, and where I live, I have a lot of exposure to tweakers, and this movie nails it, yet makes it entertaining.

Hey,i loved this movie too and was hoping if u had some free time u could answer one question for me, i dont see it listed anywheres on the board...
the end sequence where Val kilmer is on the floor and luis guzman has the blonde chick from across the hall, im assuming that is real, do they just leave him to die on the floor and Kilmers friend rescues him (the linoleum floor)? was that hte hospital.... that wwas what i thought happened anyway but wasnt sure ...thanks
