An under rated masterpiece of modern Film Noir

Just recently revisited this film at the urging of my 20 year old son who loved this film. It is truly a masterpiece of modern Film Noir and very under rated

Broadly speaking this is Kilmer's movie, really his strongest performance since The Doors, but it is an overrated, confused 'contemporary' noir.

I've never seen this and I cannae find it anywhere. I wish i'd seen it years ago when it was on cable and blockbuster.
