questions about the botched comical theft

Were the botched up events unfolding actually the end result of the "perfectly described" theft? Y'know where whatshisface gets hit by a large vehicle. I couldn't quite make out what they were stealing either.

They were stealing Bob Hope's (yes the famous guy) feces specimen to sell on eBay.

I thought it was just showing what would happen if they did carry out the heist. Very funny it was too.

I couldn't quite make out what they were stealing either.

Yeah, I didn't hear what they were stealing either. I'd have enjoyed it even more had I known what it was!
