'Meal'
I don't know if this has been discussed before.
I first saw this movie through Netflix. This was a while ago, but I remember that in the scene with the guy in the sack, when he's holding his hand out for the bowl of...yannow, the subtitles had him saying "Meal." I know he doesn't seem to be able to speak but maybe if you know Japanese you can make that word out. Since that was the most disturbing scene for me, I'm pretty sure I remember it right. I thought him saying the single word "Meal" was pretty gross considering what that meal was.
Well I bought the film on dvd after seeing it, and finally watched that last night. According to the subtitles Sack Man does not say anything.
Does anyone know if he really does say anything in that scene? Was the Netflix disc wrong or is mine wrong? I don't know what version Netflix had but mine is the Lion's Gate Uncut Special Edition.
