The Architect tells Neo there were other versions of him [in addition to Trinity] from previous ''cycles".
I don't get it.
As I understand it, the "others" were other instances of the anomaly in the Matrix code, which results from its being based on an unbalanced equation... but they were different people, not Neo and Trinity specifically.
