In the prison scene Murph sais,that he and Cybil are partners and that they wanted to have the money alone.
But I thought,Cybil and Murph met for the first time in that shop to change the money,didn't they?
Murphy lied,didn't he?I thought,he only wanted to tell bad things about Cybil,because he felt,that she loves Michael and vice versa!

Cybil would have ran immedately when she realized Murphy was not Jay Peterson in the antique shop if she knew Murph beforehand.
Plus, although it doesn't completely prove but it helps, Murphy did not recognize Jesse either.

I thought the same.In the shop Cybil's whole behaviour showed,that she never met Murphy before!
I like that movie so much,especially Cox and Russell.They make a cute couple!
