Criminally Underrated Film!

I have watched this movie several times on DVD and on basic cable
where it always gets aired by either TBS or TNT. And I do believe
that it is so criminally underrated of a movie! Considering the
very talented leads and supporting cast I was surprised that
it wasn't a major box office smash in 2001. More viewers
really need to check out this film as it is so enjoyable and
thrilling to watch.

I love Costner and Kurt in this. There are some fun scenes but overall it does not work. You can tell the director is from a music video background. He does not know how to tell a story. This should have been great but is a bit of a mess. A guilty pleasure at best. The worst thing is the loud rock music playing over the action scenes. I wish Tony Scott would have directed this. Than it might have been really good and really cool.

I've always liked the film and agree it's underrated.
Russell & Costner are great, especially Costner
because he played a such a great bad guy.
The film should be rated at least a 6 imo.

Idk, I feel like the mass amounts of cheese keep it from being considered a "good" or even great movie.

That said, I LOVE this movie! Thoroughly enjoyable. I mean, Fast and Furious aren't "good" movies, but it's still ok to love them

Yeah that sums it up well...too much cheese, not a "good" movie, but still one of my favorites from that year.

15 years since The Boondock Saints release. It is still my favorite movie of all time. Giggity.
