I don't know why I'm wasting time replying to this, but oh well here it goes anyway.
Despite the fact that this thing was shot a year and a half before Sept 11, and 2 years before the Iraq invasion, do you seriously think this movie could really be that deep anyway? I don't think anyone who had anything to do with this movie was thinking that deeply. I would say point that keen philosophical wit toward a movie with a little more actual meaning, or at least one whose time frame matches your conspiracy theory.
