When Murphy is driving the van he runs into the back of the womans car. The kid say "It's him" and Murphy say "Thats right cowboy"
How does Murphy hear the kid, he's in a differnt car. Does he have a bug in the car or something?
He doesen't hear him. He just assumes that one of them said that, so he replied that to himself asuming one of them said it. It's just a funny thing made up by the filmmakers, to fit the situation.
