Here's a question for the General: What are some of the filming locations for the movie? I know the opening scenes at the seedy motel are just inside Nevada off of I-15, and obviously the casino and Las Vegas shots are in LV, but what about elsewhere? Was the scene in Jackpot, NV with the sheriff really in Jackpot? How about Twin Falls, ID? Thanks for any info.

yup, most of it was in vancouver. also, a portion was filmed in Seattle, WA.

The scene where Kevin Costner stops at the gas station, steals the money and beer and takes off with the red head was filmed in Nelson, NV (about an hour south of Vegas). I know because I got married there last month :-) The plane sticking out of the ground is still there. It's a ghost town with mine tours.
