Did this movie remind you of....

I thought this movie was a lot like the movies "The Outsiders, Rumble Fish" and the beggining of "GoodFellas". In which all are AWESOME. This movie also reminded me of the books "Catcher in the Rye", and maybe a little bit of "Romeo and Juliet:S". I don't really know why but did anyone think the same?Anyways Deuces Wild was pretty awesome.

it reminded me a little of "The Wanderers", about Italian kids in the Bronx,
during autumn 1963. the flick came out in 1979.

I watched the wanderers and deuces wild on the same day on memorial day last year..both great films,though DW was a little better.

yeah it reminded me of a 1960 musical called WEST SIDE STORY , except there was no jolly singing
