As Andy probably said, The Services was a one off as part of the Comedy Lab which gave new comics a chance to showcase their talent, The Services is of a similar vein to That Peter Kay thing and was the starting point for it..

Services was included in the 'That Peter Kay Thing' it was shown after the 'Mr Softy Top' episode and before the 'Elton John' concert episode.

If it was, it was part of Comedy Lab but may have been shown in with That Peter Kay, it is seperate from it.., there were 6 episodes, with Mr Softy, Brian Potter, Mark Park, Leonard the Paper Boy, MEN arena one and the Bingo Hall one.. I seem to be following you everywhere, lol !!

"Services" was one of the shows screened as part of the Channel 4 comedy lab late in 1998. Peter Kay wrote and starred in "Services" and this served as the pilot for "That Peter Kay Thing" which was shown early in 2000.

If you have the DVD "The Services" is one the extra features disc. It's hilarious, and has a lot of regular characters from the rest of the series like Paul Le Roy (promoting Chorley FM at the bottom of the car park), Utah, and Matthew Kelly.
