The policeman said disorderly conduct, although its obviously unrealistic that a someone can be arrested for his conduct. It's a comedy without reasonableness.

Actually that isnt what happened (at least thats not what we were shown) He wasnt at all loud and he didnt refuse to leave the church.
He only got loud and "disorderly" AFTER the arrest
shareI saw him begin to get agitated in the church, and the priest getting upset & trying to calm him...then it cuts away to Elliott being arrested.
So we're supposed to deduce that he kept babbling (likely more & more panicked to be believed!) and the priest called the police.
