After none of his wishes turning out happily he winds up with that homely little pipsqueak with that annoying voice ???? Noooooooooooooo!

Why?

The devil liked him and took pity on him so why not give him a break? If she couldn't give him the girl of his dreams then why not BE the girl of his dreams? What was the point of casting a woman as the devil unless it determined the outcome of the movie ?

I wanted her to keep Elliott for herself, soul and all. Why not make him her assistant which could have set up the possibility of a sequel?
I just think that they missed an opportunity there.


Rescue the damsel in distress, whip the bad guy, save the world.
