Still a good movie

Great Movie. Sadly it has almost nothing to do with the earlier Hellraiser stuff, it reminded me more on Twin Peaks and Fight Club while watching.
But it´s still frightening, twisted, surreal, gory and the best sequel since the second one.
Strange are Pinheads appearances (or the lack of them). I mean he´s torturing this guy and is mean as hell, but I missed his quest for the puzzle box and other things that should be included in a Hellraiser flick.

Sorry if it sounded silly. I haven´t seen most of the movies in a long time (basically i´m only interested in the first two and Clive Barker´s work)...whatever.

I think the third part is one of the best with having pinhead struggling to destroy the box, anyway Hellraiser:Inferno is in my opinion one of the best first I thought it was boring but then it gets qouit satisfying to watch, its twisted and unbelivabel to understand just has a hellraiser film sould be and a good horror film too even if Pinhead is in more then just two scenes he still say some importent and interesting stuff worth to watch if you are a hellraiser and possibly a Pinhead fan

I thought this kind of got back to the original idea. Where the story was more about the box and those who use it. Hellraiser 1 and 2 wasn't so much about the cenobites as it was about the darkness within people's own hearts. It was more about desire and desperation intertwined.

I didn't totally dislike Hell on Earth or Bloodlines, but they did kind of stray from what the story was meant to be about...or so I thought. Great film. Hellseeker was pretty good as well. I'm anxious to see if they keep back to the roots or attempt to cash in on Pinhead's visage some more.

For some reason this film really appealed to me, I am personally a big fan of Craig Sheffer and I think he plays the lead perfectly as the corrupt cop with morals, a complete paradox and he executes it well. Although Barker did completely disown and slate this film I highly enjoyed it and it is sad that Barker hated this one yet liked Hellraiser 6 which I personally found to be erratic, confusing and badly made whilst also just trying to play with your head, they failed it just makes my head ache with the idiocy and confusion.
