5.9 out of 10? Come on...

Judging from what other probably would think about this movie, I'd say it's easily a 6.7. I myself rated it an 8. So it isn't super original, but it had that atmosphere and originality, which I wish all the rest of the Hellraiser sequels would have. I mean look at Hellraiser: Deader and you'll know what I'm talking about, it stunk.
One thing I am very thankfull for in Hellraiser V is that I did not cringe at all watching it. It had some pretty strong acting. Joseph has that thing about him so that he could take a line, even a corny one and act it out in a very believable fashion. Even when he screams "NOOOOO!" I am convinced by his acting. And it was entertaining all the way through, unlike the borefest horror movies that keeps getting made.
Hellraiser V was quite spectacular and frightening. First time I saw it, it frightened me. It doesn't anymore but I still see why people would be frightened by it. I've just grown above that kind of fear though, but I still like the movie.

I hate Jesus Christ and don't believe in god, I am 100 % proud of it.

It's 5.5 now, a score still too high. It was downright mediocre.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

It is one of my favorite of the series because of the way it builds tension.

Damn shame about that hooker though.
