You know, I think this "movie" (more like a teleplay really) is better than many of the Poe movies Vincent Price made with Roger Corman and others. It's certainly the most faithful to Poe's work. It's weird to see a Vincent Price Poe movie that doesn't have a young in-love couple shoehorned into the plot! 9/10.

Wow! I watched it last night for the very first time and totally loved it. It has to be one of the best and most intense Vincent Price performances ever. Such an amazing actor he was. Too bad the print quality of the DVD is lousy, no restoration at all.
