John, if you're reading this, what the hell happened? Remember "The Fog"? GREAT movie! Good dialog. Nobody did anything stupid or otherwise contradictory to common sense.
And now, here we have "Ghosts of Mars". Had I read the transcript prior to watching the movie, I would have thought, "Oh! Look how cute! John Carpenter is letting his six year old niece write the middling banter between the characters!" Instead, I found that you actually wrote the lines for this train wreck of a film.
Please Mr. Carpenter, do whatever is required for you to regain just a spark of that old Movie Makin' flame.
