This movie shouldve been called Escape from Mars

I kept replacing Ice Cube's character with Snake Plissken and it wouldve been my favorite movie had it did. A few script working and moving around and the ending being completely altered wouldve done it.

The characterisation of Desolation is the main weakness of the movie. If only he (or another actor) had imbued the character with the same menace that Kurt Russell displayed, it would have been much easier to take him seriously.

This movie was Assault on Precinct 13 on Mars.
