PoS? Not really
Watched this yesterday again, and as another poster (speed_2) said correctly, this gets better the older it gets. Why? Because action flicks today lack the balls, and Ghosts of Mars has plenty. (Maybe the only thing GoM lacks is Gary Busey)
On the commentary track J.C. mentioned, that everytime he came to the set, he said to his actors that GoM is the biggest piece of sh*t he's ever worked on. Well, this kind of attitude made this movie fun to watch.
I love John Carpenters style, he is the Snake Plissken of filmmakers.
