after seeing the rating for "the avengers" i can somehow relate to the sentiment, but i fail to see the use of a "protest" since the top 250 is just what it is. the mainstream average of what people of the "like/dislike" generation like.
if more people like mindless action-hero flicks, then that is what's in the top list.
somehow people forgot how voting systems with 10 stars work and just vote 1 or 10 depending on whether they "liked" the movie or not.
some day a movie called "ass", showing only an ass for 90 minutes, will win 8 oscars.. including best screenplay. i see it coming. ^^
