So what are all u guys' fav. parts? Mine is the bit where Floop is trying to reprogram the SpyKids and he tries something but then the words 'TOO LATE' come up on the screen and he goes"It's too late!". I dunno why but I always crack up on that bit. <queen-of-sci-fi>
"Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?" ~Indiana Jones~
Yeah, that one is very cool. But I can't say which parts are my favourite ones because I really like every part of the movie. Ok, I'll tell you one part: The scene at the playground, where Carmen and Juni meet their clones for the first time and Carmen hits Juni ("I always wanted to do this..."), is very cool. But - as I already said - I love the whole movie :)
I loved the whole movie, but some of my favorite scenes are in the beginning when they zoom in to Carmen sitting at the window, and then the story her mom tells her. I also like the whole safehouse scene when Ms.Gradanko comes and Camren and Juni realize what she's up to, and then they fight for the jetpacks and have the jetpack chase, and then Carmen comes back to get Juni. I love this whole movie!
"I think I've fell in love with the 8th world wonder."
wow...my absolute favorite scene of all time (out of ANY movie I've ever seen) has got to be "the two spies who fell in love." ...the proposal on the eiffel tower, the wedding on the cliff complete with enemy spies, helicopters, parachutes, and speedboats....beautiful.
"...but when she saw him, standing there....with no doubt whatsoever, so assured of his decision, so enamored with what they were about to do, she took his hand, looked deep into his eyes, and said the two most dangerous, most trusting words you can say to anyone"
The whole bit from the "Troublemaker Studios" logo through until the end of the bedtime story is absolutely amazing. The music is great too. I could just watch the opening sequence to Spy Kids over and over and over and over again.
Without doubt my favourite film sequence I have seen to date. Mind you, the whole film is amazing.
My favorite parts are the Thumb-Thumbs' stupidity throughout the movie and the part where Juni is like, "Don't call me names." and Carmen says or what and he's like, "or I'll call you names." That always makes my family laugh, but the whole movie is good.
oh - please! grow up! this is the kind of movie that's like "blind kid - keep a look out for the target", "deaf kid - shout if you hear anything", and some by some bloody harking miracle, something actually happens, and near the end some big fat americans go "oh my god" in a laughable fashion, and it's all happy families from then on... "i knew you could Jimmy.. you've overcome your disability!". It makes me cringe. Well - i don't think that would actually happen, so a tip from someone who's got a nice bit of taste - pick a different genre - perhaps based on a true story, rather than some bloody kids pretending they can beat adults at their own game; it's humiliating for the human race. I seem to remember a clip of this, and i was appauled at how un-correct and pseudo-technical it was; it was an in-flight scene of one of these movies (i think i can generalise because they're all pretty crap), and they violated several 'rules of thumb' from an aviator's perspective, and it, furthermore, makes a mockery of all pilots. Do you think some retched kid could fly your Learjet?
1. When Carmen convinces Junie that he's strong and not worthless. 2. Anytime Banderas in on the screen. He's so hot! lol 3. Floop's song! 4. The entire safe house scene including when they were in the bubble submarine thing.
