what exactly ... (possible spoilers)

well I don't really know how far you got to see of the movie, so I'm just gonna sum up the whole thing. Catch saves Sharon's life, she invites him out to the bar (where her and her cop friends hang out) he comes. They're smitten (sorry I haven't seen this in a while so if i forget things...) they start dating and he remains pretty gaurded and hard to get to know. She goes to his apartment and finds a drawer full of toys (she thinks its kind of weird but kinda blows it off) and then that night they go t this jazz place where he plays the saxaphone??(i think) and then some guy runs out after them saying "hey steve! its me" (blah blah.. "no you have the wrong guy" kinda thing) and Sharon gets suspicious and digs down a bit and realizes that Catch is really Steve, a man whos life she saved a year earlier at a horrible car accident where his (Catch/Steve's) wife and child died. She tries to make him face his past, he gets upset and storms off. She goes to her parents wedding/anniversary and Catch finally faces his past and visits the grave site of his child and wife and tells them that he lost that moment that they died and he tried forgetting it all, then he tells them that he will no longer forget and that he loves them and that he loves Sharon. He then goes to her parents house as shes walking out and he tells her that he's faced his past etc. and then they drive off together.
