I'm a guy and I cried...

..watching this movie. I realize a thread was made about this, but it didn't seem like a lot of the people were male.

This is the movie I've only ever cried at...I wasn't bawling, but I had some tears flowing. I mean damn..

So own up...what other guys have cried watching this movie?

LOL! Aww. You guys are all awesome for admitting it. Too many men are so homophobe, they can't admit they actually have emotions. It's not a bad thing. I cried (of course) but I'm a woman, and a Mom, so it was probably expected haha. I saw this for the first time when it came out and then again tonight. I wanted my son (8 yrs old) to go to sleep so I told him to lay in my bed with me because I was about to watch a movie. I thought for sure he'd be bored to death and pass out within 15 mins. I was wrong, he stayed awake the entire thing and he loved it. He made some very impressive comments throughout the film (he's a smart kid *totally bragging*) and he was really moved by it. He said he's going to come up with his own ways to change the world and write them in his writer's notebook at school on Tuesday. At the end, he cried too. So there's another "guy" for the list (Ok, he's 8 so he's a little guy but still a male!)

I'm a former Marine and I've seen things that nobody should ever have to see. This movie made me cry for hours. I called up an old pal from the corp and told him about it and he started crying too. I heard his wife ask why he was crying and he explained a bit and she joined in on the crying. I heard their baby crying in the background but I'm pretty sure babies don't know what the *beep* is going on so that probably didnt have anything to do with the movie, it was probably just hungry.

nice one percehonson... lol

This movie didn't make me cry. It made me pissed off at the people who put this bucket of crap together. Why do so many movies that try to have a moralistic theme take such great pains to invalidate their own message.

Does everyone believe in reverse karma? Or do they just enjoy the feeling of manipulation of the worst sort that this movie provides them?

And then, even the kids that killed him show up and join the vigil? And they are welcomed?

Ok I realize that the basic premise of the movie is over-idealized when I watch this. But it's a good fantasy, and for an hour and a half I'd like to escape from the real world and think that good deeds without thought of reward can change the world. And then he gets killed. Fine, now you just kicked that in. But wait! It did work after all, it must have, because everyone cares so much and we're gonna finish it off super-sappy...

Wow. I REALLY hate this movie and still gave it a 2/10. Wonder what sort of film I'd give a 1 to? *looks over list* Oh yeah, I remember now.
