The beginning credits say: Music by Xavier Capellas, Re-Animator theme by Richard Band. As a matter of fact, the Re-Animator musical theme is an obvious and outrageous rip-off of Bernard Herrmann's music for "Psycho". If an hommage is due, it's not to copycat Richard Band.
