I hate the fact that Robotnik got renamed to Eggman in programs/games... It's also the reason I totally lost interest in Sonic altogether. That and the fact that S&K was the last REAL Sonic game.

Yes! Exactly how I feel. He looked more of a comic/evil genius as Robotnik. He also had more of an eccentric feel to him. When they just updated him and gave him the Eggman name and look... It was like a new bad guy came...And he sucked ass.

After checking some info out... It appears. That he was in fact called "Dr. Eggman" in Japan... But in Western culture, he was always known as Dr. Robotnik.
Japan wouldn't cave, and neither would Europe/US... Sooo... Sega eventually adapted his name.
He's now known as Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.
More commonly, Dr. Eggman.

Who cares about the frikin name!Dr.Eggman/Robotnik was a pathetic villan from the start.Sorry,but I hate those genius schemeing people that acts retarded.Chaos and Black Doom were much better figures for a foe.They were smart,powerful,and nearly darn unstoppable.Chaos was just running around hurting people out of rage,while Black Doom thinks humans don't deserve to live and tries to kill them all.God,I love those two.
