5.6, that is so underrated. I love this movie lelee siobeski[big name so i might mess up] did great. I'd give this thriller a 8/10. Does anyone like this film a lot.
shareI bought the video almost a year ago from Wal-mart; you know for $5.50. I really enjoyed it. All the actors did a good job but Stellan turned in a stellar performance!

In my opinion the 5.6 is an good rating, considering the fact the the #1 movie,The Godfather, has and 8.9.
shareI think that is a very underrated film. It was actually VERY enjoyable for me, and I'm usually not one for suspenseful thrillers such as this one. I'd give it an 8 or 9

The first hour of the movie was very well built up, quite a guess-game 2, i found the last halfhour a bit dissapointing, i thought they could have gone into a more unpredictable scene .. but overall, a nice thriller. would give it about 7

That's pretty much what I was thinking. The rating is high enough IMO. This is probably the type of movie you watch for the sake of watching a movie.

completely, yeah, I remember like when I was seeing it in theaters with three other friends they occasionally got scared (we are all males, by the way) and kept guessing the plot and this was just a very very underrated movie in my opinion, I agree with most people here. its like, when I was watching it, I LOVED it and I think this came out around september '01 and I said to myself like "this will probably be one of my favorite suspense films of the year," yet then after I bought the movie, watched it numerous times, not to mention the repitition of HBO when the movie got on cable, and it began to annoy/bore me. But I definitely give this at least a 6.5, if not 7. this was one of those unlucky movies that was really good yet had an iffy box office and not enough word-of-mouth for it to become bigger, its quite a shame. kinda like 2000's "whatever it takes," one of those suprisingly entertaining teen movies that was immediately thrown into the pile of crappy late 90s-ish teen films, thats also a shame. yip.

i think this movies good but my sister LOVES it i'd give it a 6 or 7 and she'd give it a 10
shareI kinda liked this movie first time I saw it, but after re-watching it I can't help but thinking how odd it is to make the "heroine" a cold blooded murder in the end. Her actions in the end were definitely not in defense, and what about the poor lawyer?
